FAQ's
1. Why recycle saw blades?
In actual fact every time you have a blade re-sharpened you are recycling. The Exchange-A-Blade system guarantees that the blade you take today will give you the same great performance as the one you returned. We not only re-sharpen the blade, we remanufacture it to its original factory specifications.
2. Does Exchange-A-Blade remanufacture every blade?
No. Each blade returned to us is inspected at each often steps of the remanufacturing process. If any blade fails to meet any of our standards, it is rejected and the scrap is sent to a metal recycler. With this process you are guaranteed a perfect product, yet natural resources are not wasted.
3. Why do you have so many different blades?
At Exchange-A-Blade, we pride ourselves on being able to offer the right blade to fit any saw on the market and cut any material you may come across.
4. Why do you have such a wide range of prices?
We offer blades for every cutting situation. Our steel and standard carbide blades work well for the occasional user, while our Professional and Industrial series offer tougher, longer lasting and special application blades.
5. How do I save money?
With the Exchange-A-Blade System you first buy a blade at the Purchase Price. When you return the blade for exchange the retailer will simply charge you the Exchange Price and you save up to 65% over the original purchase price.
6. Am I just paying an inflated price to start with?
Absolutely not! Our blades are constantly price checked against similar quality products in the market. Dollar for dollar you will find that the Exchange-A-Blade system offers you the best value for your blade purchases.
7. What happens if I return a damaged blade, can I still exchange it?
We don’t charge for damaged blades. This is another advantage of the Exchange-A-Blade system. If you damage any other brand of blade you are stuck with a ruined blade. Even though we don’t reuse the blade, we make sure it goes to a metal recycler where the steel can be recycled.
8. Why can I only exchange your carbide blades?
To be able to guarantee our quality, we have to start out with a high quality blade. By only accepting our own blades for exchange we can be assured of the quality of our exchange product.
9. Are all products on your rack recycled?
No. At any one time at least 50% of the blades on our displays are brand new.
