How the Exchange Program Works
Exchange-A-Blade™ Saw Blades:
  1. Buy It.
Start by choosing the right blade for the job from our offering of over 103 saw blades using our easy-to-read saw blade selector. Available at lumber yards, home centres and hardware stores across North America.

  2. Use It.
You'll find a picture on each blade label indicating the material for which the blade is best suited. We offer a wide variety of tungsten carbide tipped blades for home, professional and industrial use. Our professional and Industrial Carbide blades are hard bodied and surface ground. We use C2 and C4 tips to provide the ultimate combination of durability and precision cutting.

  3. Bring It Back.
When your Exchange-A-Blade™ is worn and dull, simply bring it back to your dealer and exchange it for a new blade. Once you're in the Exchange-A-Blade™ program, you can exchange your used blade for a new one at the lower exchange price, sometimes saving up to 75% off the original price.

Exchange-A-Bit™ Router Bits:
  1. Buy It.
Start by choosing an Exchange-A-Bit™ professional router bit from our selection of over 90 profiles. Every router bit is clearly marked with the EAB colour code. Available at lumber yards, home centres and hardware stores across North America.
  2. Use It.
Our Exchange-A-Bit™ router bits are made to last. Special alloys are used in the bodies to prevent breakage. Carbide tips are silver brazed to the bodies for maximum strength. The cutters are made from the finest tungsten carbide, wet ground for long lasting, smooth cutting performance. They're available in both ¼" and ½" hardened shanks.
  3. Bring It Back.
After the initial purchase you can exchange your router bit for any profile in the same colour group. Plus, you don't have to wait until your bit is dull; you can exchange it any time your project needs a new profile. Leave the used bit and pay a small exchange fee for your new Exchange-A-Bit™.

*Our exchange program also applies to our complete line of holesaws and handsaws.
